Our story
Ratbag Moto was founded out of our genuine love for motorcycling. However, we also felt disappointed with some of the brands and products out there. Many brands seem to focus exclusively on a particular American v-twin cruiser (you know the one). And while those bikes can be cool, we believe there’s so much more to experience in motorcycling.
We’ve also noticed that elements of motorcycle culture still cling to outdated, often sexist mentalities. At Ratbag Moto, we stand firmly against gatekeeping, "harmless" mansplaining, misogynistic attitudes, or any form of discrimination. Motorcycling should be accessible to anyone brave enough to hop on a bike. We’re here for the open roads, community with other riders, and positive vibes.
What the heck is a Ratbag?
The name “Ratbag” comes from Australian slang, describing someone who’s a mischievous, fun-loving troublemaker. We embrace this spirit wholeheartedly, believing that a little cheeky humor and playful trolling can go a long way in changing minds and challenging dated mentalities.
